I'm sure most of you will figure out why I picked this particular book for this week's First Line Friday. It has my name on it! And yes, that is the only reason I decided to highlight this story. Remember, last week I talked about picking out a book because of the cover--well, apparently, you can also choose a book because your name is part of the title. :)
I hope that all of you are having a lovely week, and that you had a wonderful fourth of July celebration. Happy reading!
Grab the book nearest to you and leave a comment with the first line!
Today I am going to post a line from:
Wild Grows the Heather in Devon
by Michael Phillips
And the first line is...
Prologue: Stormy Tryst
"A blustery wind swept down from out of the north. The sky steadily blackened through the afternoon hours as thick ominous clouds swirled overhead."
Happy reading and happy Friday!
Let me know your first line in the comments & then head over to Hoarding Books to see who else is participating!
