Yet if I know an author is going to stay true to the historical facts, it helps me to understand the real character even more--thereby understanding the time period and the people who were living during those days. It really humanizes an event in history. englishmysteriesbloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13748837981610319484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018310766009466713.post-10946988691608591922017-01-07T15:36:15.504-05:002017-01-07T15:36:15.504-05:00I agree! Part of it is that I really have a tough time with authors putting words into the mouths of real people whom I admire so much - especially Eleanor of Aquitaine! That is why I refuse to ever read any historical fiction about her. Others, I am more willing to give it a try if I think they will be done well.Sarah @ All The Book Blog Names Are Takenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12507006809241347635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018310766009466713.post-65924544087405761272017-01-07T14:57:01.777-05:002017-01-07T14:57:01.777-05:00This sounds so interesting--kudos to you on readin...This sounds so interesting--kudos to you on reading so many historical works!
